As a Chinese proverb says, time flies like an arrow.
Almost one year ago, in November 2018, our colleague María Sánchez came to our company for the first time. María had studied Chinese for some years in her country, and she had always wanted to come to China.
Finally, our company gave her the opportunity to come to the beautiful city of Qingdao to spend one year in our premises.
Chinese is a difficult language, and cultures always play a big role in the communication between people, especially from different countries. However, the fact that our General Manager and colleagues also speak English helped to a wide extent.
Thus, despite some initial difficulties, the adaptation worked and both parties got along very well with each other.
Now, one year has already gone by. It has been a time in which we have shared many ideas and impressions from our countries, which have let us realize who similar and different they both are at the same time.
Today, in order to give a nice farewell to María, we have gone to eat hot pot together.
María on her part is very happy to have had this opportunity. Without a doubt, all the experiences she has had will help her keep developing in the future.
